Why "Earnest"
Earnest means sincere and serious. That's how we want to sell hearing aids: we say clearly what we sell, how we sell it, and when you shouldn't buy.
What we do
- We choose hearing aids whose exact model number is listed in an active Health Canada medical device licence.
- We buy only from the manufacturer that holds the licence.
- We sell online only in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, where provincial rules allow it.
- A person in Québec reads every message and answers it.
- We handle returns and warranty.
What we don't do
- We are not a clinic.
- We don't test hearing, and we don't select or fit hearing aids for a person.
- We don't use any health professional title.
- We don't make the hearing aids.

Where our hearing aids come from
Our two models, the JH-D26AT (behind the ear) and the JH-A260 (in the ear canal), are made by Huizhou Jinghao Medical Technology Co., Ltd., in Huizhou, China. Jinghao Medical holds their Health Canada licences.
